OUR STORY & MISSION

Democratizing Respiratory Diagnostics

Built to bring early AI-powered lung screening to underserved villages in rural India—where specialist doctors and X-ray clinics are miles away.

The Challenge in Rural Healthcare

In developing nations—particularly across rural Bihar and northern India—respiratory illnesses like Tuberculosis (TB), COPD, and severe lung infections cause hundreds of thousands of preventable deaths each year.

The biggest barrier is not the lack of cure, but late diagnosis. Patients often live hours away from district hospitals. By the time symptoms force a family to travel for a chest X-ray or sputum smear test, the disease has often progressed to advanced stages.

The KasaCheck Solution

KasaCheck AI leverages the power of bioacoustic sound wave analysis. Using Google’s HeAR (Health Acoustic Representations) foundation model integrated with a custom Dual-Brain neural architecture, the software listens to 10 seconds of cough sound recorded on an ordinary smartphone microphone.

It empowers frontline health workers (ASHA and ANM workers) as well as individuals to run instant pre-clinical risk screenings at zero hardware cost.

Founder & Lead AI Developer (Class XII Student)

"I started KasaCheck AI after seeing how difficult it was for families in rural communities to access basic health screenings. My goal is to ensure that no person suffers from undetected lung disease simply because they live far from a diagnostic clinic."
